Teacher Jacopo in a not so serious attempt to make a good impression.
Teacher lore:
I started teaching English when my own teachers encouraged me to become one of them and join the school. I had always loved my English classes, and if it hadn’t been for their proposal, I probably would have continued pursuing a career in International Law.
Switching paths from law to teaching turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life — and I’ve never looked back.
Over the years, I’ve often been invited to collaborate after finishing courses, and that has always made me feel appreciated and supported. Today, I’m not only an English teacher (which I absolutely love), but also a teacher trainer, specializing in English and CLIL methodology.
I have ongoing collaborations with International House and DeaScuola — partnerships I value deeply and that constantly help me grow both professionally and personally.
Beyond all this, I’ve also come to realize that I truly enjoy designing courses. That’s why I’ve decided to give it a real try and start creating my own, reflecting my teaching style, values, and the kind of learning experience I’d love to offer you.
