Just like the course is delivered on remote, its support materials are digitalised.
This mode allows for a higher approachability of the classes to all students without distinctions between those living in Rome and those who don’t.

⚡ The Exam Preparation courses of General English (A1-C2) last four months (32 lessons).
⚡ Each unit is an intensive focus, and provides continuous theory and practice sessions.
⚡ By the end of the course you will prepare on past exam papers really used in exams
How is the course designed?
⭐ The course is designed to offer a comprehensive view of the topics appropriate to each CEFR level (B1,B2,C1,C2)
⭐ The course is designed to be intensive and open to personalisation of the contents by the student: meaning that everyone will get the possibility of introducing themselves, their interests and their anecdotes throughout the exercises of the course.
⭐ Every course will provide moments for explanation and moments for controlled practice of the target language - where students can practice what they’ve learnt with their peers while the teacher supports them whenever needed.
⭐ Each course requires students to do some homework between one lesson and the other. Homework is therefore considered a substantial part of the learning programme.

❓ Why do exam preparation courses last only four months?
As a teacher, I noticed that 16 lessons are ideal to cover all the grammar required for each course, to allow all students to express themselves and to clarify most of the doubts.
Each time you'll learn one or two topics, you'll get the chance to practise with your classmates and then you'll receive homework.
By the end of the course you may well expect to revise some topics you've learnt at the beginning and a deeper skills training.
❓ Why are the courses scheduled at a fixed time ? (8.30pm - 10.30pm, or 8pm - 10pm)
Unfortunately, I’m busy teaching other courses during the day, so it’s difficult to introduce another free spot for them (but ask us anyway)
❓ Does the exam preparation course comprehend the real Cambridge exam for my level?
No, this is only good training for the exam. In fact, the exams we will work on are indeed mock exams.
No teacher can be examiner of their own students because there you will have a conflict of interests and unfairness.
❓ Will I be ready to sit an exam after attending the exam preparation course?
It depends on your improvement during the course. On the last days of the course you'll be invited to take mock exams so that you may gauge your own skills before enrolling for the real exams.
I will only correct you mock exams and give you honest feedback about it.
❓ Can I sit the exam, even though other students don't want to do so?
Yes. That's completely up to you to choose when and where to sit it. You'll find all the necessary information to reserve your exam on Cambridge's website.
❓ If I want to continue the course after the first 3 months, will the content of the course change?
Yes, obviously. Every time you take another course, the teacher will provide you with different exercises and activities in order to keep you out of your comfort zone.
